Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) Announces ETH Holdings Reach over 6 Million Tokens with Total Crypto, Cash & Marketable Securities Holdings of $17.2 Billion

2 min read

Bitmine Immersion Technologies has reached a staggering milestone in its aggressive acquisition strategy, announcing that its combined crypto, cash, and marketable securities holdings have climbed to 17.2 billion dollars. Central to this massive balance sheet is the company’s accumulation of over 6 million Ethereum tokens, which represents roughly 4.9 percent of the entire ETH supply. This rapid expansion comes after just fifteen months of consistent weekly purchasing, placing the firm on the verge of achieving what leadership calls the Alchemy of 5 percent.

According to Bitmine Chairman Tom Lee, the move into Ethereum has paid off significantly during the third quarter of 2026, where ETH has emerged as a top performing macro asset by vastly outperforming the S&P 500. Much of this wealth is being put to work through MAVAN, an institutional grade validator network created by Bitmine. Currently, more than 5 million ETH are staked via this platform, generating substantial rewards with annualized staking revenues now projected at around 358 million dollars.

Beyond its primary cryptocurrency hoard, Bitmine is diversifying into strategic moonshot investments. The company holds a 115 million dollar stake in Eightco and another 180 million dollars in Beast Industries, while maintaining about 672 million dollars in liquid cash and securities. This diversified approach has caught the attention of Wall Street and high profile backers like Cathie Wood and Pantera, helping propel Bitmine into the Russell 1000 Large cap index earlier this summer.

The company’s visibility in the markets has surged alongside its assets, with recent data showing it ranks among the top hundred most traded stocks in the United States by daily dollar volume. As Bitmine cements its position as the largest Ethereum treasury globally, Lee suggests that current regulatory shifts are sparking a transformation in financial services comparable to the end of the Bretton Woods system in 1971. To further discuss these trends and his outlook on the ongoing crypto bull market, Lee is scheduled to deliver a keynote address at Korea Blockchain Week on September 30th.
